Terms of Service

The short version: VOLERON is a tool for reviewing your own trading. It isn't financial advice, you can cancel any time, and your journal stays yours.

1. About these terms

VOLERON is a trading journal and analytics service run by VOLERON (ABN 77 813 290 580), based in New South Wales, Australia ("we", "us"). These terms apply when you create an account or use VOLERON. By signing up you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. What VOLERON does

VOLERON lets you import and log your trades, see your track record and statistics, find patterns in your own trading, ask an AI coach about your journal, and create P&L cards. We may add, change or remove features over time to improve the service.

3. Not financial advice

Statistics, "edge" and "leak" findings, monthly grades and AI coach answers are general information calculated from the data you enter. They don't take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. They may be incomplete or wrong, especially if your data is.

Trading futures and other leveraged products carries a high risk of loss, and you can lose more than you deposit. Past results, including any results shown on our website, don't guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions. Consider getting advice from a licensed professional before you trade.

4. Your account

• You must be 18 or older to use VOLERON.
• Give us accurate details and keep them up to date.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Each account is for one person. Don't share your login.
• Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.

5. Free trial, subscription and billing

• Free trial. New members get a 7-day free trial with every feature. You'll be asked for a payment card when you start the trial.
• After the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and your card is charged the price of the plan you chose: US$19 per month or US$179 per year.
• Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Currency. Prices are in US dollars. Your bank may charge currency conversion fees.
• Promotion codes apply only as described when they're issued and can't be exchanged for cash.
• Price changes. If we change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to your next billing period. You can cancel before then.
• Failed payments. If a payment fails, access to your journal is paused until it's resolved. Your data is kept.

6. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel any time from Manage subscription in your journal. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again. Cancelling during the free trial means you won't be charged at all.

We don't give refunds or credits for part-used billing periods, except where the law requires it. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't lawfully be excluded, including your consumer guarantee rights.

7. Your content

Your trades, notes, tags, screenshots and other data ("your content") belong to you. You give us permission to store, copy and process your content only so we can provide VOLERON to you, for example to calculate your statistics or answer your AI coach questions. You confirm you have the right to upload the content you add.

8. Connected services

VOLERON can work with other services you choose to use, such as Notion and your broker's trade exports, and uses Stripe for payments. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we aren't responsible for them. When you connect Notion, we only read the pages you choose to share, and you can disconnect at any time.

9. The AI coach

The AI coach uses a third-party AI model to answer questions about your journal. When you use it, a summary of your trades, notes and your question is sent to the AI provider to generate the answer. AI answers can be inaccurate or incomplete. They're general information, not advice (see section 3). Please check anything important yourself.

10. Acceptable use

Don't misuse VOLERON. For example, don't try to access other members' data, interfere with or overload the service, copy or reverse-engineer it, resell access, upload malicious files, or use it for anything unlawful.

11. Availability and changes

We work to keep VOLERON available and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may need to pause the service for maintenance. We recommend keeping your original records, such as your Notion journal and broker statements.

12. Our liability

To the extent permitted by law:

• we aren't liable for any trading losses, or for decisions you make based on information in VOLERON;
• we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profits, data or opportunity; and
• our total liability to you for any claim about VOLERON is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Where the Australian Consumer Law lets us limit our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

13. Ending your account

You can stop using VOLERON at any time. To delete your account and journal data, contact us. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or if we have to by law. If we stop offering VOLERON, we'll give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using VOLERON after that, the new terms apply.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the courts of New South Wales.
