Privacy Policy
Last updated 14 October 2026
The short version: we collect what we need to run your journal, keep it private to you, never sell it, and delete it when you ask.
1. Who we are
This policy explains how VOLERON (ABN 77 813 290 580) ("we", "us") handles personal information when you use VOLERON. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
2. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored securely and we can't see them.
- Subscription details: your plan, trial and billing status, and the customer ID Stripe gives us. Your card details go straight to Stripe. We never receive your full card number.
- Your journal: the trades, notes, tags, account size and other columns you import or enter, including broker trade exports (fills, prices and P&L).
- Notion connection (if you connect it): the access Notion grants us, and the contents of the database you choose to share.
- AI coach questions and the answers generated for you.
- Technical information: basic logs such as dates, times and error messages, kept to run and secure the service.
3. How we use it
- To provide VOLERON: your login, your private journal, statistics, AI coach answers and P&L cards.
- To manage your subscription and payments.
- To answer your questions and help with problems.
- To keep VOLERON secure and working, and to improve it.
- To meet our legal obligations, such as tax records.
We don't sell your personal information. We don't use advertising trackers. Your journal is private to you: other members can't see it, and we only share a P&L card or other content if you choose to share it yourself.
4. Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run VOLERON. They only use your information to provide their service to us.
| Provider | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Accounts and database (your journal) | Sydney, Australia |
| Cloudflare | Website hosting and delivery | Global network |
| Stripe | Payments, billing and the subscription portal | United States and other countries |
| Anthropic | AI coach answers, only when you use the coach | United States |
| Notion | Reading your trades database, only if you connect Notion | United States |
Because some of these providers are overseas, your information may be stored or processed outside Australia. We choose providers with strong security and privacy practices. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
5. How we protect it
Your data is encrypted in transit. Database rules mean each member can only ever read their own journal. Notion access tokens are stored on the server and are never sent to your browser. Payments are handled by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, so if we become aware of a data breach that's likely to cause you serious harm, we'll notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your account and journal while your account exists, so your trades are still there if you come back after a break. If you ask us to delete your account, we'll delete your journal and account details within 30 days, except for billing records we must keep by law (generally 5 years for tax purposes).
7. Your choices and rights
- Access and correct: you can see and edit your journal any time. For anything else we hold, email us.
- Delete: email us to delete your account and data.
- Disconnect Notion: click Disconnect in VOLERON, and you can also remove access from Notion's Settings → Connections.
- Marketing: we'll only send account and service emails unless you agree to more, and you can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
8. Cookies and local storage
VOLERON uses your browser's storage to keep you logged in and to remember preferences such as dark mode and your last view. We don't use advertising cookies.
9. Under 18s
VOLERON is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
10. Questions and complaints
For privacy questions, requests or complaints, contact us. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We'll show the new date at the top, and tell you by email or in the app if a change is significant.
